PRIVACY POLICY

What We Collect

We keep data collection to an absolute minimum:

• Restaurant reports:Restaurant name, address, tipping policy, and optional description. Your display name (optional, defaults to "Anonymous").
• Rate limiting: A one-way hash (SHA-256) of your IP address is stored temporarily to prevent abuse. We do not store your actual IP address.
• Analytics: Basic, anonymous page view analytics via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no personal data).

What We Don't Collect

• No account registration required
• No email addresses
• No cookies for tracking
• No personal data sold to third parties — ever

Third-Party Services

• Google Maps: Used to display restaurant locations. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Database hosting. Data stored in the US (East).
• Vercel: Site hosting and edge network.

Data Retention

Restaurant reports are retained indefinitely as part of the public directory. Rate-limit hashes expire automatically after 24 hours.
